One million bookings for iPhone 4S in the first 24 hours

New Apple record! This time they have managed to reach the million booked units of iPhone 4S during the first day. The previous record, which was held by iPhone 4, was set at 600,000 units on the first day of pre-ordering. Cupertino’s company keeps going up!

Apple has just announced that pre-orders for the new iPhone 4S introduced last week have now reached one million over its first day . The iPhone 4S will go on sale in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States on Friday, October 14th, starting at 8am, and at the end of the month in Spain and Mexico , among others. According to Philip Schiller , senior vice president of worldwide product marketing at Apple:

Thus, Apple breaks its previous record , set at 600,000 iPhone 4 orders booked in a single day.
