Nuclear Throne, Steam
When it comes to games, most of them are for iOS. Mobile devices have led to an explosion of titles for all tastes. But for the Mac, there are also games that are worth paying attention to. While it’s true that in some cases the requirements force us to have a more powerful Mac (especially in terms of graphics), that doesn’t mean that there are interesting titles.
And no, I’m not referring to the versions of titles like Bioshock or Call of Dutty. I’m talking about Nuclear Throne , a game presented by our colleagues from Vidaextra and which I’ve been enjoying these days. The reasons? A lot of action, gameplay and above all, fun.
Nuclear Throne is not one of those games that stand out because of its outstanding graphics but because of the gameplay and fun it provides. With a very retro style of graphics, from those arcade games in which many of us spent the Saturday morning, we will be able to choose different personnel with whom we will have to go through different scenarios, eliminating every living being that is put in front of us and taking advantage of the characteristics of each one.
Available in Steam Early Access, the price is 8.99 euros that if you like what you see in the video are more than justified. Really, we recommend 100%. Of course, as an extra option, you can take advantage of the emulation options we have in OS X. Mainly with projects like OpenEmu. A more than interesting application now that we are in summer and, supposedly, we have more free time for leisure.
