Controla tu asmaEn la App Store
If you’re asthmatic, you’ll know what I’m talking about. The truth is, I don’t suffer as much as I did when I was a little younger. But even today I have to be careful in the spring and keep the pollen and pollution levels under control. GSK brings us a very interesting iOS application .
With it, asthmatics will be able to keep track of their disease and relatives of people with that disease will be able to understand the disease a little better. Best of all, the application is completely free of charge.
It is very easy to use, download the application and install it, and as soon as you start it, the application asks you if you are affected by asthma or if you are a family member or friend of a patient. If we are in the first case, the application will ask us a questionnaire, the ACT (Asthma control test).
According to the answers, it will give us a score, which we will be able to evaluate when registering (also free of charge). We will only need to mark the region in which you are and in this way you will be able to know at all times the weather, the temperature, the level of humidity in the environment and the level of pollen .
Each day that passes, we will have to indicate how we are with regard to asthma and the application will create a graph. As the days go by, the application will perform the test again, so that we can keep track of our disease.
This information can be collated by your doctor , to find out how you are managing your condition and whether or not you should take any action to try and minimise its effects. If you are asthmatic and have a Smartphone (the application is for both iOS and Android) I invite you to try it out.
