With this new tool, people will be able to take quick notes on documents using their fingers, which is very useful, especially in times when we are in a hurry and need to write or underline a document as quickly as possible.

In the tab called ‘Drawing’, users can choose between ‘selecting objects’, ‘a pen’, ‘a marker’ or an eraser. In Excel users can also note on the cells or in PowerPoint draw on the slides. The latest Office for iPhone update is now available on the App Store.

Microsoft adds this feature to Office for iPhone only a few months after updating Word, Excel and Powerpoint by adding support for drawing with the Apple Pencil on the iPad Pro . This way, it is now possible to make annotations on Office documents with the Apple Pencil (or with your finger).
