During the last Development Forum in China, Microsoft has provided more than 300 Surface Pro 4 to the speakers and attendees. Among these attendees, Tim Cook has been provided with one of these devices.

In most of the presentations the guests already had these devices at their disposal so that they could use them during the different activities. In fact, the idea was that they could submit their questions directly online and use the Office applications directly on the Surface Pro 4.

Many speakers paid little attention to these devices

Many of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 were not even used. Attendees seem not to have paid much attention to these devices , and even got rid of them.

We don’t know what Tim Cook did with his device, but let’s remember that some time ago the CEO of Apple compared this kind of devices with the invention of a fridge-toaster . He commented that ‘you can attach a fridge to a toaster, but that doesn’t mean it will be satisfactory for anyone’ . The image of the Surface Pro 4 next to Tim Cook’s name, has quickly gone around the world on social networks.

What we are sure about is that this hybrid tablet-notebook is not a nice thing for Tim Cook . Many of us believe that the Apple CEO used this device to support his iPad Pro. CNN commentators have seen Surface Pro 4 used as an iPad holder in the past , so it wouldn’t be surprising if Cook had done the same.

Let’s remember that Apple still insists on the fact that its iPads Pro are computers , so it would make sense that Cook would have no need to use Microsoft’s device beyond a simple lectern.

What do you think about many of the attendees getting rid of Microsoft devices? What do you think Tim Cook did about it? Leave your opinion in the comments.
