After the release of iOS 12.1, Apple has decided to make available to users l to download macOS 10.14.1, watchOS 5.1 and tvOS 12.1 that have spent more than a month of betas outlining all the new features that visually are virtually zero but that at the level of security are important.
In the watchOS 5 update notes it is highlighted that certain bugs in our Apple Watch and slight improvements are resolved. In particular, the following new features are highlighted:
- The Apple Watch Series 4 will now contact emergency services when we have fallen and are completely immobile for several minutes, a sign that we are unconscious. In addition to alerting the emergency services, your emergency contacts will be notified that you’ve fallen by attaching the location coordinates.
- Fixes a problem that caused an incomplete installation of the Walkie-Talkie app for some users.
- Solves a problem that prevented some users from sending or receiving Walkie-Talkie invitations.
- A problem related to activity prices is solved.
As you can see, the main new feature is the activation of the emergency services alert when we are down, but this will only work with the Apple Watch Series 4.
In macOS 10.14.1 the main novelty is the arrival of group calls in FaceTime as in iOS 12.1, as well as incorporating the new Unicode 11 Emoticons. The rest of the improvements are superficial and focus on fixing bugs and security issues.

In tvOS 12.1 the new features are less noticeable as it does not add any visual improvement , it only solves bugs and security problems that have been detected in this betas process.
We recommend that you update all your devices as soon as possible to be able to enjoy the new features and especially the security improvements that accompany these updates.
