This week has been full of news. Microsoft opened the season with the presentation of the new Surface Book i7, but Apple has shown all its potential with its new MacBook 2016 family, which is coming to fight hand in hand with the latest from the Redmond boys. But will it have what it takes to be the notebook of reference in 2017?
The new Surface Book i7 brings, as we see in its own name, the new generation of Intel Core i7 processor, which comes with 8 or 16 GB of RAM, depending on the version we choose, and that will also be of the DDR4 class. Also, significant improvements have been implemented in the screen, which now has the Stunning PixelSense technology, and the battery, which extends its duration up to 16 hours in video reproduction , perhaps a little ahead of the MacBook Pro. As for storage, it starts at 256GB, up to 1TB, which will be combined with the various RAM options, resulting in three models: 2568, 51216, and 116, which will cover a large number of users.
The 15-inch MacBook Pro 2016 – in its top version – features a 2.6GHz Intel Core i7 processor, which we can configure with 1TB, so nothing has to envy the new Surface Book. The screen makes use of Retina technology and has a resolution of 2880 by 1800 pixels and the battery decreases to 10 hours of video playback -something understandable by the design-, giving a slight advantage to Microsoft’s alternative in terms of autonomy.
In more subjective areas such as design, Applesupportphonenumber continues to advocate for the iconic design of MacBook, which wins in quality of materials over its rival, as well as in innovation, with the inclusion of the surprising Touch Bar, since the Surface Book, although it improves in all areas compared to its previous iteration, lacks the innovation that Apple offers us with its latest model.

In summary, as befits devices focused on professional use, we are in front of two of the best laptops on the market , which will set the market trend this coming year. However, we find that the new MacBook is in a slightly higher position, not only because of its design, but also because of the inclusion of the Touch Bar and Touch ID, a differential piece that will surely attract a large number of users.
