Mac Pro audio issues may continue after the last update

The Mac Pro is Apple’s flagship performance product. A desktop with power that currently doesn’t seem to be doing well.

Relatively recently there was a discussion on Apple’s support forums commenting on the excessive use of the processor when playing or recording audio with the computer’s built-in audio controllers. Well, Apple released a Mac Pro Audio Update 1.0 that supposedly fixed that issue.

And it seems to be true but not entirely. Now some users have seen the problem with the computer sound card fixed and have started to suffer from other types of bugs but this time on external controllers , in particular with up to three different models of Firewire sound cards, according to user reports. The bug consists of a high-pitched sound that doesn’t stop.

Therefore, it seems that will have to continue working at Apple to solve these errors as soon as possible because let’s not forget that they are affecting a range oriented to professional users whose work depends on the team. Meanwhile, if you don’t use any of these Firewire cards your CPU consumption problem has been solved.
