Last year Logitech made a big leap in the quality and design of its portable keyboards with the introduction of the FabricSkin series, made of materials such as leather, fabric or cotton and treated to repel not only any type of liquid, but also dirt . The latest addition to the family is the Keys-To-Go, an accessory that moves away from the concept of the Folio line case to find its own place as an independent keyboard of very small dimensions that can be used interchangeably with the iPad, iPhone and Apple TV via Bluetooth.
Available in three colors, black, red and cyan, the Logitech Keys-To-Go is 6mm thick, not bad considering it hides a mechanical keyboard under the FabricSkin coating. In terms of design, it’s still unmistakably reminiscent of Microsoft Surface’s Touch Cover, which is a good thing that allows users of the apple to enjoy the best of every home.
The three months of autonomy with a daily use of a couple of hours moves within what other keyboards in the company offer, but what is a nice novelty is that they have found room to add a new row at the top for the keys dedicated to iOS shortcuts, separating them from their old location next to the number keys. One press and you can return to the home screen, switch apps, or even take a picture. No more fumbling with the function key.
If you’re convinced, you’ll be interested to know that the Keys-To-Go keyboard is available for pre-sale today on the Logitech website at a price of 72 euros , which puts it below the usual cost of other company iPad accessories that can’t even remotely boast the same finish. However, you will have to get used to the idea of carrying it as an independent element as opposed to the more usual case format.
