Jony Ive, Apple’s new design director

Today a very important step has been taken at Apple, and that is that Jony Ive, a fundamental part of the company, has become the director of design at Apple. Until now, Ive was until now senior vice president of design and years ago it was rumored that he could replace Steve Jobs in his position , something that Tim Cook finally did.

This news has been given by Cook himself, and it has also been detailed that Richard Howarth, who was part of the original iPhone team is now the new vice president of industrial design and Alan Dye, until now head of human interface is now the new vice president of user interface design.

John Ive will continue to supervise the work of both departments, but will now have more time to devote to more administrative tasks within the company. It should be noted that all of these changes will be effective from July 1st.

In the coming months we will see what these changes lead to and how they affect the future of the company, from Applesupportphonenumber we congratulate Jony Ive, Richard Howarth and Alan Dye.
