iPhone, that dark object of desire

Electronista

If you love the iPhone, if it’s like me, it represents everything you need in a mobile device . If you don’t really understand that reality-distorting halo , which its detractors talk about so much, but since you had one in your hands you haven’t needed to look any further, maybe you’ll understand what I’m referring to.

We will always have to endure that it is an outdated terminal , with an unfinished software or that Apple is teasing us . But then you are surprised to see that a million terminals are sold in one weekend, and all the alternatives presented by the competition look suspiciously like Apple’s terminal . Now we have to add one more win . In the Japanese market, that which is so different from the European and American markets, in which the iPhone had no chance, we find the Apple device as the best-selling Smartphone .

In a recent market study, the 8Gb 3G model was ranked as the best selling , followed by the 16Gb model and with Sharp’s NTT DoCoMo Aquos SH-04A in third place, the Blackberry Bold is in sixth place. We all know that the Japanese mobile phone market has such special features that the iPhone was predicted to be a resounding failure, but it seems that this has not been the case. Perhaps the adjustment of plans and prices by Softbank, the company that has the device exclusively, has something to do with it. But the fact that the two models of the phone are among the first three… suggests that Apple did not have everything lost in Japan.
