iPhone Battery Notifications on the Mac
iPhone Battery Notifications on the Mac

Has it ever happened to you that you have to charge your iPhone before you go out and you end up going out with less than half the battery? It happens to me all the time. I carry a charger in my car but most of the time the trips are so short that it doesn’t give time to charge, and even less if you have to activate the GPS. So iBetterCharge can help.

This company has developed a small utility for our Mac that will remain in the background, undisturbed, until our iPhone battery is in danger. The typical window-shaped alerts we receive on our iPhone that the battery is about to run out, usually at 20% and 10%, can be seen on our Mac.

As we say it will remain in the background, but and how does it work? It works through our Wi-Fi network . However, we need to have Wi-Fi syncing enabled with iTunes first. The first thing we’ll see when we open it is a small guide to how the application works and the first steps to recognize the iPhone.

From the settings you can configure the alerts – at 5, 10, 20 and 50% – the type of notification, notification on full load… Best of all, it’s totally free, both for Mac and Windows. What more can you ask for? We won’t forget to charge our iPhone before we leave.
