Little by little there is less left for Apple to present the new iPhone 7 to the world, and this is something that is also noticed in the rumors and leaks that are appearing on the net. As we get closer to these rumors are more numerous and sound more and more powerful , in fact many of them finally come true.
KGI Values’ analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, has said more than once that the future 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus will have 3GB of RAM , which will improve performance. Now, a new report has raised the alarm again about that possibility.
According to this report, the increase in built-in RAM in the next generations of smartphones, including the iPhone, will further increase the demand for these products. In the case of the iPhone, that memory would increase to 3GB instead of 2GB in the next generation to be launched in just over a month.
The report does not specify whether that RAM will be for the 4.7 inch model, the 5.5 inch model or both . What is clear is that even if only 3GB of RAM is included in a model it will be an increase over the RAM of the iPhone 6s, 6s Plus and iPhone SE.
DigiTimes has a mixed record in reporting on Apple’s future plans , although it must be said that its supply chain sources have provided fairly accurate information in the past. However, this report is also a rumour to be picked up, but being backed by Ming-Chi Kuo makes it gain credibility.
At the moment we only have to wait a few weeks to get out of doubt and see if Apple finally includes a 3GB RAM module for the iPhone 7, and if so, whether they will do so in both models or only in the 5.5 inch one.
