According to Apple Insider, Ming-Chi Kuo said that although the volume of shipments of the iPhone 7 Plus has been better than expected , shipments of the iPhone 7 are lower than those of the iPhone 6s.

The analyst indicated that a determining factor for the good reception of the iPhone 7 Plus in the market, was the topic of the explosion of the Note 7 batteries, because the Apple phone was presented as an appropriate option for users who were looking for a large phone. In addition, according to Kuo, the dual camera function of the iPhone 7 Plus has also been well received .

In terms of color options, a survey conducted by KGI shows that jet black is the preferred choice of users. According to the survey, new iPhones in this colour represented approximately 30-35% of pre-orders worldwide .

Kuo predicts that, despite the good results of the iPhone 7 Plus, year after year Apple will see a decrease in shipments of its new device . Therefore, the analysis firm indicated that shipments of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be lower than last year’s iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.

The same apple company predicts that this year’s numbers will be slower than last year’s, as it will not release first-weekend sales figures for its new iPhone line, and according to Apple Insider, it also predicts that its profits will be slower this quarter.
