Now that the news vortex concerning what is undoubtedly the device of the year, the Apple Watch, has calmed down somewhat, we are starting to see the first rumours and leaks coming, of course, from China, of what is destined to be the next iPhone, the iPhone 6s , which will probably make its appearance between September and October on the market.
One of the key aspects that users have been demanding as an improvement for the next generation of iPhone, is without doubt, the camera . Beyond entering into issues related to sensors or other more complex technical aspects, it is clearly demanded that Apple exceeds 8 megapixels and in this aspect is placed in the numbers marked by the terminals of the competition .
Having said that, a few days ago, from KGI already reported that Apple would have taken the step to 12 megapixels. We have a new confirmation of this, this time from Kevin King, from IHS Technology Research , that in Weibo, the Chinese social network par excellence, corroborated the information given by KGI days before, stating that the iPhone will have the so rumored 12 megapixels .
That both KGI and IHS agree that the iPhone will bring a 12 megapixel camera in its next generation, does not mean that it will happen, although when so many sites start to rumour the same thing, we must recognize that the odds of these predictions, leaks or rumours becoming true start to win out in their entirety .
The 12 megapixels of the new camera wouldn’t be the only new thing in photography that Apple would have for us. There has also been talk of the possible inclusion in the next iPhone of a dual-lens camera that would put the iPhone at the forefront of terminals with the ability to perform almost professional photography , this being the big leap that the public expects for the iPhone, although it is very unlikely for an iPhone 6s and perhaps more feasible for a future iPhone 7 .
