Este concepto de iPhone XI cambia por completo los rumores que hemos oído

Just a few days after Jon Ive’s departure from Apple, Evans Hankey will take over as head of product design for the apple company. However, Ive’s replacement doesn’t end at Hankey. Alan Dye will lead the company’s human interface design group, that is, everything that has to do with iOS , macOS , iPadOS and other software that may be available to users.

Hankey has more than 300 patents in his name . She will be the first woman to occupy such an important position in the company and will continue to work with Jony Ive, although now he will do so from a distance and through his new company as he announced on the day of his departure. Both Hankey and Dye have played a very important role within their teams in recent years, although Ive has always been the visible face .

Apple has a new organization chart

While Jony Ive was reporting directly to Tim Cook , with these new changes, Apple’s top management has decided to reorganize their way of working, as both Hankey and Dye will report to Jeff Williams , Apple’s Chief Operating Officer, who will now have a much more operational role. Williams has led the design of the Apple Watch since its inception , and will now focus on improving the design of the firm’s entire product range.

Jony Ive will continue to work as we mentioned before with the Sillicon Valley team on more exclusive projects, and always through the design team he has formed and which is now led by Evans Hankey .
