The applications are presented in a table, and some are adapted to the 720p resolution of a television without problems depending on how they are developed. As you can see in the video, we can open and use applications like Facebook or Google Maps; besides being able to interact with system elements like a keyboard and a Magic TrackPad connected to the Apple TV (although seeing how the author uses the trackpad it seems that you have to use a cursor).
If one day Apple decides to launch applications designed for Apple TV, it’s obvious that it’s not going to be that simple. We’re talking about applications optimized to work on a tablet appearing on a TV, which Apple would never allow. Maybe the TV that hopefully will arrive this year will release this kind of applications using a new kind of interface… maybe using the iPhone or even the iPad as a remote control? It’s all about waiting. Meanwhile, this achievement always satisfies our curiosity to see what it would be like to use iOS apps on a TV.
