It’s been an avalanche of announcements, but the day isn’t over yet, as Apple has started to announce those details that didn’t make it into the presentation. Like in this case iOS 9, which we know will reach all users next September 16th , but before that, they have already released the final versions for all developers.
iOS 9 is now in its Golden Master version , which is the almost final version. If no bug is found, it will be made available to everyone the following week. But it does not arrive alone, as we also have the first beta of iOS 9.1 , which among other things will be the version that will have the iPad Pro.
The GM version of iOS 9 is identified with build 13A340 and no major new features are reported so far. But in the case of iOS 9.1, this first beta comes with the build 13B5110e and here we already have a lot of new features and support for several announcements we met today.
iOS 9.1 incorporates support for Live Photos, which are the new photos with motion and sound, support for the Apple Pencil in iPad Pro, as well as the first API for the use of 3D Touch, with which developers will be able to implement the new menus based on pressure levels, this within their apps.
Both updates are now available from the developer channel, or from the device itself via OTA.
