iOS 9 beta 3 and watchOS beta 3 now available for download

Today is Wednesday, and as every two weeks of summer, we have new betas of the new Apple operating systems. Right now we have just released the third beta of iOS 9 and watchOS 2.0. This time we don’t know all the news about it, and the download note just says that the bugs have been fixed .

Finally, the fatal error in iOS 9, which until now did not allow phone calls on any iPhone, is fixed . Who can use an operating system in beta if they cannot use their mobile for what it is primarily designed for? Of course this made iOS 9 really unusable as a daily operating system, even though it works quite well on all other things.

Some elements of the interface have been made worse, especially some setting icons , although translations of some elements have been completed, which were still in English for those of us who have our system configured in the Cervantes language. There are also the classic performance improvements.

Another of the most curious news is that Photos, now includes two new folders: Screenshots and Self-Portraits. The first one will automatically group the screenshots we take with our iPhone, and the second one will group all the selfies we take with the front camera of our iPhone. Simple but very ingenious.

Of course, as Eddy Cue promised us last week, iOS 9 beta 3 brings Apple Music under the arm . Although we could enjoy Beats 1 unofficially, Apple Music is now perfectly supported, just like in iOS 8.4, which was released last week.

WatchOS 2.0 beta 3 continues to improve. In this new beta we see even more improvements in system performance, making it more stable and allowing Apple Watch users a more enjoyable user experience.

Don’t forget that to install these betas you no longer need to be registered with the Apple developer program, as they are open . Just look for the links on a website that puts them up, or update your device from the Update software if you already have one of the other two betas installed.
