iOS 8.1 reactivates the adoption of the new version of the operating system on iOS devices

La adopción de iOS 8 sigue siendo baja

With the arrival of iOS 8.1 last week we start to see how the adoption level of iOS 8 is increasing, right now more than 50% of iOS devices have iOS 8 installed .

The specific figure is 52% of the devices, so we see that in this last week and a half the adoption has increased by 4% . All this taking into account that during the keynote presentation of the new iPad, Tim Cook stated that 48% of the iOS devices had iOS 8 installed.

iOS 8.1 has brought a number of new features (and fixed a number of system “bugs”) that seem to have encouraged many users to install. We see performance improvements, troubleshooting with WiFi and Bluetooth and also, of course, we have the return of the reel, instant “HotSpot” or the beta photo library in iCloud.

In my opinion, iOS 8.1 is the version of iOS that should have been released from the beginning . In my personal case, I have this version of iOS installed on a first generation iPhone 4s and mini iPad and the system “runs” in a more than acceptable condition. However, I will always advise you to make a clean installation and not to restore any backups.
