A few hours ago Apple shared with the developers the fourth beta of iOS 7.1 with all supported iOS devices. We have seen changes in the interface, stability improvements… In short, small fixes in the system , mainly behind the curtains, to improve our user experience. That’s why we detail the changes we will notice the most.
The first and most noticeable change is the new screen for turning off our device . You may not see it as much as I do if you never turn off your iPhone or iPad, but the new screen has a new larger slider and a new design, changing colors and the cancel button as well. You can see a sample of this change in the video below.
The other change that will jump out at some will be how we add contacts directly from the Phone’s dial. When we dial the number in question, previously there was a line called + Add to Contacts , now there will be only one button with the add sign, as you can see in the following screenshot.
You have also changed the make scroll in the Messages application . If you notice it has a little bounce to it, that with this new beta this bounce has been accentuated. And as my colleague Cristian told you, a new voice has been added for Siri in the UK.
It is still not clear when this new version of iOS will be available. It may be already in March if we follow the evolution of previous versions. We will not see very substantial changes but we will see a performance improvement and small visual refinements of iOS 7.
