Apple released yesterday iOS 7.1.2, a new mobile operating system update that fixes several bugs and makes improvements to iBeacons . Supported iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch users can now download this update. Two months after the company released iOS 7.1.1 we finally have a new minor system update.

is just over 30 MB and as we said a few moments ago, fixes several security issues , which are related to attachments in the Mail application, as well as small bugs and a problem related to data transfer with third party hardware. On the other hand, iBeacon compatibility improvements are also introduced.

This update to iOS 7.1.2 is now available for download via iTunes or via OTA (Over The Air) . We recommend that you update by connecting your iDevice to iTunes, but we cannot always download the update from your computer because we do not have an internet connection, for example. If that’s your case, don’t worry because here we leave all the download links for the different compatible iOS devices , so we can download it and put it in a pendrive to install it whenever and wherever we want.

Remember that installing an iOS update this way is very simple, just connect your iPhone or iPad to the computer via USB where you have saved the file and open iTunes. Next, press Alt (if you have a Mac) or Shift (if you have Windows) and click on the Restore or Refresh button to open a window where you can browse for the downloaded file.

Remember to back up your device before installing any updates to keep your data safe on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. You don’t have to, but some error may occur during the update, which could cause loss of information.

And you, have you already installed the new iOS 7.1.2?
