This time the update focuses on fixing a major security flaw that had been detected. This bug is related to checking SSL connections through the device and this new version promises to put an end to the problem.

The new iOS version is available for all iO-compatible devices S 7, whether iPad, iPad Air, iPad Mini, iPhone or also iPod touch.

As usual when Apple releases a new version of iOS, the update is available both via iTunes and via OTA (Over the Air) update from the devices themselves.

To update through iTunes, all we have to do is connect our device to the computer through the USB cable , open iTunes and the application will warn us that there is a new version of the operating system and will ask us if we want to install it.

If wants to update via OTA , just go to SettingsGeneralSoftware Update and follow the instructions on the screen. In case you want to do it through this system, it is necessary to have the iPad or iPhone connected to a WiFi network and to have more than 50% of battery percentage.

Below we leave you with all the links to download iOS 7.0.6 in a file that you can transfer from one computer to another without any problem.

If you want to update your devices using these files (ideal if you have a slow Internet connection at home, since you can download them elsewhere and then move them around) you should use iTunes. To do this, connect your device through the USB port, open iTunes, and click on the Update option while holding down the Alt key (on Mac) or Shift key (on Windows). A new window will open allowing you to choose the file you want to install . In this case one of the following:

iPad Air

iPad Mini Retina

iPad 4

iPad 3

iPad Mini

iPad 2

iPhone 5s

iPhone 5c

iPhone 5

iPhone 4s

iPhone 4

5G iPod Touch

Whichever method you use to upgrade, it is very important to back up before you start installing the new version of the operating system . This is unusual, but there is a chance that something could go wrong during the upgrade and with the backup we will make sure that we don’t lose any data in case of failure.
