iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 beta 3 now available: what’s new

Apple has abandoned the update schedule we were used to and is now launching betas without a fixed day to the surprise of many. Today they have released the third beta for iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 developers although it doesn’t include any notable changes, just polishing the bugs that were seen in previous betas.

Enlargement: also released the third betas of both Catalina 10.15.2 macOS, watchOS 6.1.1 and tvOS 13.3.

iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 will officially arrive in the coming weeks on all computers that support slight enhancements. Among these we can highlight the new communication limitation that we can impose in the Settings section, ‘Time of use’. Also included is the possibility of removing the Memojis keyboard so that it does not appear whenever we access the emojis keyboard. In this beta there are no more important changes as we are seeing that it is only focused on improving existing features.

Right now we are in a third beta and it is possible that at the end of December or beginning of January we will see the final version of iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 since we are facing very stable betas that we are testing and it does not give us any kind of important problem. We are already testing this beta on our devices and in the next hours we will update this article with the most important news we can find.

As we have said, along with these betas we have also seen the third betas of Catalina 10.15.2, watchOS 6.1.1 and tvOS 13.3. In the beta for Apple TV a new function has been found related to the play queue to be able to see the contents to be played, so the play queue ‘Next’ now makes much more sense for users.

We do not recommend you to install this beta as the new features it includes are very superficial. Although if you want to investigate, here is how you can always install under your responsibility and making a backup in advance to avoid problems.

The steps to follow to install any of the betas are the following:

  1. Go to the Betaprofiles website from the iPhone or iPad to which you want to install the beta.
  2. Choose iOS or iPadOS and click on “Download”.
  3. You will see that the developer profile has started to download and you will have to accept its terms and install it from Settings.
  4. Once you’ve installed the profile, you’ll need to restart your iPhone or iPad.
  5. Once your computer has restarted, go to General Settings , Software Update to download and install iOS 13.3 Beta 3 or iPadOS 13.3

Leave us in the comment box what you think of these new betas, have you installed it on your device?
