Apple has not been keeping up with software updates lately, making users afraid to upgrade their devices to the latest version available. Some users who upgraded yesterday to iOS 12.1.3 have started to report a problem related to LTE connectivity stating that they are not even connected to the internet by their iPhone with its data rate or this connection is very unstable, forcing them to always be connected to WiFi.
This is one more bug that is known to many since iOS 12.1.2 that was released on Christmas Eve theoretically solved a problem related to mobile data in third-party applications.
This issue is being resisted by Apple’s software engineers because in the latest updates, the bug persists without being fixed, even a reboot won’t fix it . Some experts claim that the solution is to reset the network configuration.

Some users point out that one telephone company is being most affected, Sprint , which has acknowledged that it has already opened an investigation into the matter by receiving numerous reports from its customers. But it seems that it also affects other users that are not in Sprint and in addition to countries other than the United States such as Canada.
Through Twitter the official Apple support account has responded to several users who have experienced this issue on their iPhone when they have updated to iOS 12.1.3.
We hope that soon we will see a new software update solving this problem which obviously can be tremendously annoying for users who suffer from it on a daily basis since it prevents them from being able to connect to the Internet if it is not through a WiFi network.
