As you can see in the video, the latest iOS 10 Developer Beta, shows a warning message when moisture is detected in the Lightning port of the smartphone, forcing the user to unplug any accessories that are plugged into the device. The alert appears only when the port is in use, so we can think that the function would be available only to avoid a potential short circuit .

The Engadget website indicated that the liquid detection feature is only available on the newest iPhone models , including the 6s, 6s Plus and SE. As you can see in the video, the notice warns about the presence of a liquid in the connector and instructs users to dry the plug immediately.

At this time Apple has not released a complete list of supported devices, nor commented on whether the feature will remain when iOS is officially launched later this year.

As we mentioned, Apple has just launched the second public beta so that non-developer users can start testing the benefits that iOS 10 will bring .

Among the recent news that we knew are the redesign of Apple Music, new sound when typing on the computer, a new support function within Siri so we can know which are the third party apps that can access Siri , and also the possibility to download from Safari and Mail application directly in iCloud Drive.
