Images from the unboxing of the iPad Camera Connection Kit

iLounge has published the images of what would be or not of the first “unboxing” of the iPad Camera Connection Kit . As you know, this set of accessories consists of two adapters, one for SD cards and another with a USB connection (female), which allows us to load our photos directly from an SD or digital camera on the iPad through the 30-pin port of the iPad.

As shown in the pictures, this connector pack comes in a small white box in typical Apple style with a picture of the two accessories.

Once out of the box, we can see that the 30-pin connection part is protected by a transparent plastic similar to the ones included in the video output adapters of the different Apple computer models.

Once the device is connected, the iPad photo application will show a new button, “Camera” , which will display all the compatible content (RAW and JPG) present in the connected device or inserted SD card. In addition to this button, two other side buttons will appear that will allow us to import or delete all the content present on our connected media.

Obviously, the application also allows us to select one by one the images we want to import simply by clicking on the desired ones.

This connection kit is now available on the App Store (USA) at a price of $29 and with a shipping time of 2 to 3 weeks and from what we have seen lately it seems that its uses are not going to be limited only to importing photos taken with a digital camera.
