There is no doubt that after only one month of its release at WWDC15, Apple Music is succeeding and revolutionizing the world of music and the way we interact with artists . However, it does not really offer many exclusive features compared to its direct competitors.
But there is one feature that makes Apple Music a streaming music service to be reckoned with. In addition to its 24-hour online radio stations, its three month free trial and its excellent design, Apple Music allows us to listen to music offline, without an Internet connection . Something really useful if we use this service frequently and what we want is to save money through mobile data.
Let’s start with the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. You will need to go to the Music application and find a song, album or playlist that you want to save.
Then we have to click on the “More Options (…)” button on the right side of the name. We add the song to any playlist and then a small button will appear with the option “from the cloud for iCloud to download the songs.
You can find all the songs and albums saved in “My Music> Playlists”.
It’s even easier to save songs to listen to offline from a PC or Mac thanks to iTunes . Music is accessible from the “My Music” tab and playlists appear under the Apple Music playlist option in the sidebar.
If you want to see all the elements you have saved to listen offline you can do it from your mobile device in “My Music> Library” and clicking on the link ArtistsÁlbumesetc.
On a Mac, simply go to the iTunes menu and click “View> Offline Music Only” . On Windows, open iTunes and press “Ctrl + B” and then look for the same option: “Offline Music Only”.
As indicated in BGR, this should work so that you can listen to your favorite songs without the need for an Internet connection , either via Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G.
But remember, once the subscription ends you will not be able to listen to the songs you have previously saved. By the way, remember that at iPadizate we’ve already shown you how to avoid renewing your Apple Music subscription. We hope this brief tutorial has helped you and don’t forget to share the article on social networks. Thank you!
