We continue with the series dedicated to Safari extensions for iPhone and iPad. It’s amazing how many things you can do that you probably didn’t know about. Today we’re going to learn how to know which is the source of a particular web and for that, we’ll make use of a simple app.

WhatFont is a Safari extension that is primarily aimed at developers and designers. It displays information about the font being used on a web page . After installing WhatFont, highlight a piece of text on a web page, then select WhatFont in the iOS Action Sheet. It will show the font family, font style, size, weight, and line height.

  • We go first to Apple’s app store, the revamped App Store, and download and install the WhatFont application.
  • We then give Safari permission to enable the application. To do this, we click on the blue border square with the arrow and go to Activities, enabling the WhatFont application.
