On an Android smartphone or tablet you can download almost any file format simply and efficiently to the “Downloads” folder. In addition, each file can be accessed with an appropriate application.

In iOS things are not so easy, perhaps that is part of its security and stability. Be that as it may, there are methods for downloading files to iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch . And… yes, they are done through applications.

For example, let’s say you want to download and play an MP3 or MP4 file you found on the web. You can’t download it directly, but you can save the link to download it with an application from the App Store…

How to download files in iOS

There are several applications on the App Store that are capable of downloading content from the Internet directly to the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. In this case we will focus on iSaveit, from Mobile Innovations.

1. Download iSaveit

2. Enter the URL of the web page.

3. Click on the file download button.

4. Wait for the download process to be completed.

5. Access the “Files” section of iSaveit.

6. From here you can save, view and share your downloaded files.
