With the arrival yesterday of OS X Yosemite we all want to try out its many new features, but in many cases it is advisable to do a clean installation of the system. In Applesupportphonenumber we tell you how you can create a pendrive with this latest version of Apple’s operating system so you can make a clean installation.

To make this copy you will need an external drive of at least 8GB and DiskMaker X , a software that allows us to easily store the OS X installer on an external drive. To download this installer simply go to the Mac App Store.

When the Mac update wizard appears, we need to open DiskMaker X and select the version we want to use on our external drive, in this case Yosemite (10.10). The program will then transfer the files to this drive. With this we will be able to do a clean installation when starting our Mac. In addition our external drive will have other functions like the disk utility and the recovery utility in Time Machine.
