How to change the background paper style in iPad Notes in iOS 11

For iPad Pro and Apple Pencil users, the Notes application as a note-taking tool that works very well, even allows you to collect ideas in a brainstorming . iOS 11 allows you to draw anywhere in a note, even I do not carry the shopping list on paper anymore, but on my iPhone. Step 1: On your iPad or iPhone, open the Notes application and create a new note.

Step 2: Don’t write anything down. Click directly on the Share button.

Step 3: You will see a pop-up window called Lines and Grids. Tap on it.

Step 4: In the next pop-up menu, you will see previews of paper backgrounds. Tap on the style you want and the background will change instantly.

And don’t worry, since there’s no need for paging. These backgrounds support infinite scrolling . I bet you didn’t know that?

How to change to a different style

If you feel like changing, you can do it in a different style whenever you want.

Step 1: Again, on the note, tap the Share button.

Step 2: This time, you will see the predefined sheet. Slide your finger on the bottom row until you find the Lines and Grids option.

Step 3: In the pop-up menu, select another style and that will be the new background.

If you are not satisfied with the default styles, you can import your own grids or backgrounds as an image. Because the Notes application allows you to instantly draw images, you just have to drag an image and start marking it with the Apple Pencil.
