Así es como iOS 11 te impide escribir y hablar por teléfono mientras conduces
Last summer, iOS 11 introduced many great new features but also small ones that in most cases go unnoticed. We have seen some notable changes in calls and accessibility . For example, iOS 11 brought us the Do Not Disturb While Driving feature, which allows us to avoid calls in the car and automatically send a message alerting us that we are driving. But that’s not the only new feature.
If what we do with Do Not Disturb is to avoid any incoming calls (or with exceptions), there is another functionality that allows us precisely the opposite, to answer the calls, automatically . By offering an interval of time from when the phone rings until the call is answered, we can save ourselves from picking up the phone all the time, either to save time or due to accessibility problems.
To enable this option we must perform the following steps:
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Go to General and then to Accessibility.
- Go to the Audio Addressing option.
- Click on Auto Respond.
- Enable the function and choose after how many seconds you want the call to be answered.
From now on, any call we receive will be automatically answered after the time we have indicated. We can also answer before that time manually. Perhaps in everyday life this doesn’t make much sense, but if we’re driving or working and can’t pick up the phone all the time, it can be very useful.
