You may not be using some of the applications that come natively in iOS, or you may be using alternative applications to the ones that come by default. If so, you may be interested to know that you can hide some of the applications that come with the system so that they don’t take up space on your home screen. If you’re interested, here’s a little guide to help you do that.
To start, go to Settings> General> Restrictions and click on Enable restrictions. After that, the system asks for a 4-digit code, enter it, confirm it, and you will have access to hide several native iOS applications. You can now turn off the switch for the applications you want , which will no longer appear on the home screen.
In this menu you can also prevent the installation of applications, their removal, or purchases within them as its true function is to serve as a parental control. So we found a very complete tool to limit certain uses of our device.
Please note that every time you access the restrictions menu you will have to enter your password, so it is highly recommended that you do not forget it. In case you want to leave everything as it was, click on Disable restrictions, enter your password and they will be totally deactivated.
As you can see, this option is quite useful in case you use another web browser like Chrome or another camera application like Camera+ and you want to keep your home screen clean by replacing the applications you don’t use. Also, the fact that is not necessary to have the jailbreak done in our device makes it more accessible for everyone.
