Apple devices have always been known for their innovative designs and their latest product – a book that walks through the company’s designs, from 1998 to 2015 – could not be an exception.
A week ago Cupertino’s boys launched a 450-page book documenting the last 20 years of Apple design, or, in other words, a book of photos from Apple devices, which is available in two versions for prices of approximately 200 and 300 euros, a higher value than some of their devices.
Given the importance of this new Apple product, 512-pixel blogger Stephen Hackett has created a unique video showing Apple’s new “Designed by Apple in California” book alongside current Apple products, ranging from the PowerMac G5 to iPod cases.
The video helps bring the book to life by providing a nostalgic look at the last two decades of Apple products, from the original iMac in 1998 to the Apple Pencil in 2015. Hackett said that most of the book is part of his personal collection of Apple products.
Apple’s new book, in stores since last week, chronicles 20 years of Apple design with 450 photos of its products and the processes used to make them. The high quality photos were taken by photographer Andrew Zuckerman. Apple says it took eight years to design the book dedicated to Apple’s co-founder, Steve Jobs
This last novelty from Apple, is available in certain stores, such as Apple Regent Street in London, Apple Opera in Paris and Apple Ginza in Tokyo, among others. In the United States, it is available in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Dallas, San Francisco and Palo Alto, and at Apple’s campus store at its headquarters in Cupertino.
Do you consider yourself so fanatical as to invest in this book?
