Hazel is possibly one of the most useful applications for many users. A tool that allows you to automate tasks easily. Hazel
What exactly is Hazel offering? Let’s see, Hazel automates actions for the folders we select. This way, every time there’s a change in the folder Hazel will perform the set actions.
For example, in the downloads folder we set the following rule: when a video file is downloaded move it to the Movies folder and put the blue tag. This way we manage to keep an order in the downloads folder and we mark the video with a tag that can mean that it is pending to be watched, to be moved to another format, to be added to iTunes, etc…
That is, it will allow us to take control of our Mac easily and quickly . But there’s much more, the new version also includes the ability to automatically upload files to an FTPSFTPwebDAV server. Also extract content from some files, ability to add notes and descriptions in the rules to know exactly what they do or why we created them, option not to overwrite the existing file when copying, moving or uploading to a server; and more, much more.
No doubt a highly recommended application that if you have not tried yet you can do it through the demos version that Noodlesoft allows to download for evaluation. If you’re interested later, the price of Hazel is 28 dollars , about 21 euros at the exchange rate.
