Google Mobile app became the first native application to be published by Google on the App Store, almost three years ago. It was a tool for searching for personal information and the Internet, which four months later received an update that gave it voice search capability. Well, today Google reports that it has changed its name to Google Search app and also completely updated its interface.

The new application, which you can now download for free from the App Store, is basically a browser customized by Google through which we can search by traditional means (images, web, etc…) or also using the voice or “Googles”, the term search engine based on images of the famous company. That is, you take a picture of the Eiffel Tower, for example, and the search engine will recognize the image and start the search. You can search for books, places, brands, etc… It’s very curious.

The new design of the application is very comfortable and at a “fingertip” we have all the means of search at our disposal. It behaves in a fluid way, and is clear showing the results, very useful when you need information in the fastest way and you want to get it using Google. It also incorporates a visual aid system for the first uses of the application, which is appreciated.

Thanks to the erikolano tweet that alerted us to the availability of the app!
