Fixes and enhancements for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch

Apple has officially released iOS 10.2.1 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The iOS 10.2.1 operating system is probably a bug fix and performance improvement. The initial beta version was released on December 14th with a second beta version released before the holidays.

iOS 10.2.1 is the last software update after the previous iOS 10.2 update. Released on December 12th, iOS 10.2 brought emoji characters from Unicode 9.0 , three new wallpapers for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, a new TV application, additional camera features, new message screen effects and much more.

No major changes are expected in iOS 10.2.1, although a new beta version of iOS 10.3 is rumored and may include a new theater mode accessible in part through Control Center before iOS 11 later this year. With this new feature, iPhone users will be able to mute sounds, reduce screen brightness, and block incoming communications when iPhone users are in the theater without disturbing other viewers.

At this time the developers of the iOS 10.2.1 beta version will not see an update , as the beta version and the published build numbers are the same as the December 14th version.
