When there are new episodes of the Apple TV+ series

With the launch of Apple TV+ we have been many users who have squeezed the maximum of many of the series that are included but we have found a problem: the series at first are not launched with all its episodes . This has meant that we can’t do any kind of marathon and spend 8 hours in front of the TV to finish the first season of SEE or The Morning Show. So the question is more than obvious: when will Apple release more episodes of their series and why has it done this?

The truth is that this strategy of not pulling out a series at once is something that we already see in other platforms like Netflix which also premieres seasons of much loved series with weekly episodes, or HBO did the same with Game of Thrones. This is the smartest thing to do in order to stretch the expectation for a content and to have the audience retained to the platform longer. Apple with the little content it offers is obvious that they must do this so that users don’t run out of all the content in a few days and it becomes even more evident this problem that we hope to solve with time.

That’s why Apple, following the example of other big platforms as we mentioned before, will release a weekly episode of each of the series that the platform has right now, specifically every Friday . It can be annoying at first to have to wait a week, especially if they leave the end of a episode on top, creating a lot of expectation, but you have to understand why they do this.

Right now we’re loving these Apple TV+ series at both the production and script levels. We think the ideas are very good and the actors chosen to shape Apple’s productions are incredibly good. The only thing missing is a lot of extra content especially to make sense for people to pay a monthly or yearly subscription for this service. Right now there are many of us who enjoy a free one-year subscription and don’t have the focus on the money we pay. What we should keep in mind is that Apple has promised that every month we will see new content on the platform.

In the future, it is possible that Apple will be able to compete directly with Netflix or HBO in productions because it has started off very well but we must let it evolve and show what it can do.

Leave your comments in the comment box and tell us what you think about Apple releasing a weekly episode of its series. Are you enjoying the Apple TV+ catalogue yet?
