Last Monday Apple released the official iOS 12.2 version for all devices after its special event. In this update we saw many bugs fixed that had been seen in previous versions and that had not been fixed at the time. However, new bugs appeared that will presumably be fixed in the iOS 12.3 beta version that has been released just a few minutes ago for the developers.
As we said, the official iOS 12.2 release has brought visual improvements like the new Animoji for iPhone X, XS, XS Max and XR or new features in the settings. However, this one has also brought some problems that have been reported by several users and that, in theory, would come corrected already with this first beta of iOS 12.3 that Apple will release in the next months officially .
At the moment we haven’t been able to see any visual novelties in this beta, although it is likely that some will be included and will be seen in the next few days. At the moment we know that it has brought internal improvements and security measures like every official update and every beta released from Cupertino.
One of the most striking aspects of this beta is the ability to find references to future products or services already announced by the company last Monday. Usually the most analysts venture into the iOS system in order to obtain succulent information that Apple leaves in the code. As well as the aesthetic innovations already mentioned, we’ll be seeing them over the next few days.
At the moment nothing is known about the betas of macOS 10.14.5 . The public betas for this iOS 12.3 have not been released either, although it is expected that in the next hours or days they will be released so that all public testers can try out the new beta.
In any case it doesn’t seem that iOS 12.3 will be a version that brings too many new features . Since it is already such an advanced version it is likely that it will be the last one of iOS 12 and therefore you will want to reserve the new features for iOS 13, which will be presented at WWDC 2019 in San Jose (California) next June 3rd.
Update: the first beta of tvOS 12.3 has also been released for developers with no apparent news beyond internal improvements and bug fixes.
Update 2: the beta 1 of macOS 10.14.5 was also released with few new highlights apart from bug fixes.
