It’s been a long time since we heard anything about the iPad Air 3, the next generation of Apple’s 9.7-inch tablet that would see the light of day in 2016. Until now, since an image with the scheme that would correspond to the iPad Air 3 has been filtered out, it reveals some very interesting new features.
According to previous rumours, the iPad Air 3 will not have 3D Touch technology on the screen, but there would be a novelty on the back. According to the Twitter filtering scheme, the iPad Air 3 would have integrated flash next to the main camera .
The one in charge of filtering the scheme has been Twitter user Steve Hemmerstoffer, who has a pretty good track record when it comes to leaking technological devices. Of course, Steve comments that he is not sure about the reliability of his source , but he still shares this image with which it is possible to get an idea of where Apple could go.
It must be said that the iPad Air 3 is the tablet that the American company is taking the longest to launch on the market , and that the usual renewal cycle is one year. While the iPad Air 2 is the model that has been on the market the longest, Apple did launch the iPad Mini 4, as well as the iPad Pro.
According to the scheme, the only noteworthy change that would go beyond the typical internal hardware improvements is that would be the first iPad to have an integrated flash at the back of the camera. As for the interior, the iPad Air 3 is expected to have a new processor, more RAM or a camera with higher resolution.
The rest of the exterior design of the iPad Air 3 would remain the same as the previous model, so would maintain the shape, size, thickness and layout of the speakers and buttons.
Rumours are that the iPad Air 3 could be presented alongside the Apple Watch 2 and the iPhone 6c (or 5se) on a Keynote next March. So we will have to wait to see what happens finally and if Apple will present it in March or not.
Do you think that’s what the iPad Air 3 will look like? What do you think of the idea of it having built-in flash?
