The keynote we will enjoy today is the first official Apple appearance at an event since October 23, 2012 . The importance takes on a strategic character due to the fact that the competition is at a peak and the company is expected to surprise with its new operating systems.
So far, from what we have seen in the official WWDC 2013 posters, the redesign in iOS 7 and OS X 10.9 is almost assured . But, how deep will be the changes proposed by Apple? Steve Jobs said some fantastic words a few years ago: “Design is not just what it looks like, design is how it works” , so users expect more than just a facelift, along with perhaps some surprise on a hardware level.
It’s going to be an exciting day for the world of technology, so I’m quoting from 19:00 in the afternoon ( Spanish peninsular time ), where we’ll start our follow-up to offer you all the new features that will be presented. We still don’t know if Apple will offer a streaming public of the presentation, so in any case, we encourage you to join us:
- For this occasion, we will use Twitter directly to do the follow up, so you can follow everything with any device that can connect to the well-known social network.
- We’ve also set up our traditional live.Apple.com live tracking page with the Twitter widget embedded, so you can just log on and enjoy.
When the presentation is over, we will offer you detailed articles of each and every product you submit, as well as the first analyses and ratings.
