The Daily News at Apple
Apple , in conjunction with News Corp , has just sent out a media invitation to an event where it will be presenting The Daily , the subscription-based digital media that in theory should give a good boost to this type of content that has not been as successful as expected so far on the iPad.
The event will be held at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York (sorry if I scared you, people from Bilbao), next Wednesday, February 2nd at five o’clock in the afternoon Spanish time (eleven o’clock in the morning US Eastern time). As rumored in it will appear the CEO of News Corp, Rupert Murdoch, along with the vice president of Internet services at Apple Eddy Cue since Steve Jobs has been temporarily retired by his health.
Being an event managed by the two companies, we don’t expect to see anything more than the presentation of the Daily without any surprises from Apple alone (surprises in the form of new devices will be saved for the keynotes they organize). Anyway, we could be in front of a very interesting press format and we will be watching what will be presented that day in New York.
