It is not something that usually happens, maybe that is why it is difficult to find a solution . Just below you have four possible solutions to the problems with your iPhone’s flashlight.

Reboot your iPhone

It is one of those solutions that work for everything. To do this we have several options, but perhaps the easiest is to simply turn the iPhone off and on again . To do this:

  • Press and hold the Lock Button on your iPhone.
  • Wait for the top slider to appear.
  • Slide over the screen and turn off the device.
  • Once it is turned off, press and hold the lock button again.

Reset settings

If a basic reboot doesn’t do it, it’s best to reset your iPhone settings. You won’t lose any data, images or anything else, but you may have to reset your wallpaper, alarms and other basics .

  • Open the Settings application and then click on General.
  • Then tap on Reset and then tap on “Reset Settings”.
  • Confirm that you want to reset the settings.

Close the Camera application

It is possible that the flash has stopped working because of the iPhone’s camera , one possible option may be to close the application. To do this simply slide up on an iPhone X or later or double press the start button on an iPhone with Touch ID and slide the Camera app off and close it.

Charge your iPhone

If the iPhone battery is almost discharged , the flash may not work. This also happens if the iPhone is too hot or too cold. Charge your iPhone, wait for it to drop to a suitable temperature, and try again.

If you have already followed all these steps, and you have updated your iPhone to the latest version of iOS , and the flash still doesn’t work, it is probably due to a more serious error and you will have to go through the technical service.
