Still, Apple decided to add the camera mostly for augmented reality apps or to make more sense of its iMovie app.

Even though the camera is not worth five dollars as a photo camera, we can say that as a video camera it still saves the rooms and something decent can be achieved with it. In any case you don’t need to answer us since Flickr is perfect to answer such a question.

While an iPhone 4 is uploading photos an average of 4402 photos per day, the iPad 2 is uploading… an average of 23 photos per day . We’re talking about the largest photographic community in the world and although it’s a reference, logically there will be more people using the iPhone as a camera every day.

In any case, it is a relatively reliable way to know if users are using the iPad’s cameras as “cameras”, clearly not. In any case, as we mentioned at the beginning, Apple’s intention was more focused on the utilities of augmented reality and video conferencing.
