Shazam llega al Mac, ya no hay excusa para no saber qué está sonando
Shazam has updated his iOS application with an interesting new feature: the possibility to listen to whole songs without ads if you have a paid account with potify or Rdio . In this way, the application will no longer be open only occasionally so that users can stay in the application and listen to songs.
To support that goal, the application will also give us personalized music news based on the songs we have wanted to identify. Shazam has over 100 million active users a month, and this may be a good way for them to stay longer.
In the case of Spotify, we can also add everything we hear from Shazam to a playlist . The icing on the cake is a redesign of the official website that integrates all these new features, including downloading our entire history whenever we create a user account via Facebook Connect.
And Apple? Well, Shazam still has the integrated iTunes purchase links and the half-minute previews in case we’re not subscribed to any streaming music service, but this update focused on Spotify and Rdio is one more sign that Cupertino still has its homework to do with Beats Music. It’s just a matter of waiting.
