What madness has been mounted with the famous bendgate from Apple, and that is seems to be that although a few iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have been folded in the pocket, the thing has not passed from that , and we can buy one quietly without fear of being doubled.
In fact, just today the press department masterfully denied the bendgate , because only 9 people claimed that their iPhone had folded in their pocket, out of more than 10 million iPhones sold , a ridiculous figure that shows that the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus do not suffer any problem.
In spite of everything, Apple wants to settle the matter well , that’s why on the company’s website it seemed like a new job was available. Apparently, it is a position for an engineer to test the effort of the new iPhone and iPod that the company will bring to market.
Specifically, Apple is looking for experts in failure analysis, metallography or fractography to work on the structural analysis team. The work consists of testing different materials to determine the strength of the raw materials and components used.
As if this wasn’t enough, Consumer Reports has stated that it is testing the iPhone 6 and iPhone Plus in different tests to see if they really have any bending problems.
According to them, will critically test the new iPhones against other popular smartphones using their “sophisticated machinery” that can apply up to 1,000 pounds of force. It’s not the first time they’ve done this, and they’ve also tested it with the LG Flex for example.
It will be a matter of days when we will see statements from both Apple and Consumer Reports , in the meantime, just buy an iPhone 6 or an iPhone 6 Plus, because it is not the end of the world, there are only 9 defective iPhones.
