During the day, we often visit many websites, where sometimes, we may want to remove a particular one from our search history instead of all the pages we have visited.
In iOS we have the possibility to remove addresses from Safari in a very simple way. Selecting only those that we don’t want to appear in our history for whatever reason.
Of course, we can also erase the entire trace at once, from the last hour to the entire history, including the current and previous day.
How to delete a particular address
To delete a specific address , simply log in to Safari from iOS, and follow the steps below:
- Click on the bottom of the screen to display a book
- Access the history by pressing the clock icon at the top right
- Select the URL you want to remove
- Slide your finger from right to left
When you start to slide your finger , you will see a red label appear that says “Delete”. When you slide it completely to the left, it will disappear forever. Well, at least until you visit this particular page again.
Clearing All Safari History
If we want to get rid of all the websites we have visited , we have a really simple and effective way to do it. Simply open Safari and follow these steps:
- Click on the history icon
- Now on the clock icon
- Press “OK”
- Select the desired option
Depending on the option you choose, you will see your history disappear partially or completely from your iOS Safari browsing log.
Our iPhoneA2 colleagues have made this short and effective tutorial about the browsing history in iOS , where we have echoed as a reminder for users who do not remember this possibility or simply do not know it.
