One of the most eagerly awaited news by many Apple mobile device users around the world has finally come true. The US company has waited until iOS 10 to include a feature to remove unused native applications from your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch .
While it is true that Apple does not include an excessive number of native apps in the operating system, it must be acknowledged that many of them are never used . For example, the Stock Market or Friend Search app, among others, although it also depends on each user.
However, there is good news for users, since with iOS 10 it will be possible to remove the apps installed by default on the device that we don’t use . This way they won’t be taking up unnecessary space and you’ll save some space in the process.
The procedure for removing one of the native iOS 10 apps will be the same as for removing any other application. Hold your finger on the icon of any app on the home screen until the app starts shaking and the “x” appears in one of the top corners.
The system applications that you can delete in iOS 10 are as follows:
- Friend Search
- iCloud Drive
- iTunes Store
- Voice notes
As you can see, there are quite a few native applications that can be completely removed from your device with iOS 10 . No doubt it’s a small feature, but it’s sure to be welcomed with open arms by millions of iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users around the world.
