How should we count Mac sales versus PC sales?

An IDC report indicates that the PC market is following the same trend: fewer and fewer computers are being sold, but the drop in sales of Windows PCs is more pronounced than that of Macs . The definition of the PC is already different depending on which company you look at . I will not say that the trend is false or that the survey manipulates because nothing is further from the truth: computer sales are falling and no one has been able to reverse it. But we must bear in mind that right now the definition of computer covers much more than before.
